Paragon Maintenance Agreements
Annual maintenance for your eligible HVAC and domestic hot water equipment, performed by the Paragon Technical Team. Plans start at $169.99 per unit, per year.
Every plan is priced per unit, per year and renews automatically in the first quarter of each calendar year, or on your monthly or annual pmcomfort.com auto-renewal election.
1 visit · per year
Check temperature and air flow, inspect for water damage and suction line insulation, inspect blower wheel, replace filter, check condensate drains, thoroughly clean the condenser coil, check capacitor, contactors and safeties, and record the condenser split ambient temperature.
Enroll1 visit · per year
Humidifier maintenance included (excluding steam humidifiers). Check for signs of water and rust, check the condensate drain, record temperature rise across the furnace, inspect the burners and blower, clean the ionizing rod and ohm the ignitor.
Enroll1 visit · per year
One annual visit for either the heating or cooling component of one mini-split system. If the system provides both heating and cooling, two agreements are necessary.
Enroll2 visits · per year
One heating-season and one cooling-season visit. Clean and check the indoor evaporator coil, inspect safeties, contactors and capacitors, clean the indoor filter, record the ground loop temperature drop and fill station level, and service the circulating pumps as needed.

Clean or replace the filters as needed, clean the blower wheel and clear the drain line.
Enroll1 visit · per year
Clean the burners for the tankless heater, exercise the isolation valves, check safeties, and inspect vent piping and drain line.
Enroll1 visit · per year
Replace the canister (billed separately if not provided by the customer), test and record unit amp draw, inspect the drain, and run two cycles to confirm it drains correctly.
Enroll1 visit · per year
Inspect the fill valve and back flow, record static and full-fire system pressure, check fresh and exhaust venting for obstruction, inspect and clean the burners, test and record system water TDS, pH and hardness, and lubricate the pumps as applicable.

Two annual maintenance visits for one combination boiler system. Includes no parts, materials, service, or repair; perishable items are billed annually as needed.
Enroll1 visit · per year
One annual visit for a non-condensing heating-only boiler. Inspect the fill valve and back flow, record system pressure static and at full fire, check venting for obstruction, inspect and clean the burners, test system water, and lubricate the pumps.
Enroll2 visits · per year
First visit covers the non-condensing boiler. Second visit covers the boiler and indirect: check temperature rise and venting, exercise the domestic water tank valves to free calcium build-up, test tank temperature output, and clean the flame sensor.
Enroll1 visit · per year
Remove and clean the burners and flame sensor, check all boiler safeties and controls, test the water feed and low water cut off for proper operation, and blow down the boiler to flush out sediment.
Enroll1 visit · per year
One annual maintenance visit for one generator. Includes no parts, materials, service, or repair; perishable items are billed annually as needed.
Enroll1 visit · per year
For one residential split wine-cooling system. Check cellar temperature, differential and airflow, clean the condenser coil, inspect the evaporator coil and blower wheels, check the condensate drain and pump, inspect refrigerant piping, electrical connections, capacitor, contactor and safety controls.

Clean the evaporator and condensing unit coil for the wine cooler, check the drain and clean the blower.
EnrollFilters are not included within this contract, as they are replaced on an as-needed basis. Plans include no parts, materials, service, or repair; perishable items are billed additionally on an annual basis, as needed.
While no maintenance plan can eliminate all breakdowns, our Paragon Maintenance Agreements offer additional benefits when two or more devices are enrolled.

Maintenance appointments are scheduled with the assumption that all equipment is in good working order and free of failures.
Our technicians will immediately inform you of the failure, then offer to initiate a billable service call, schedule permitting, or recommend a follow-up visit with our Dispatch Team.

Your participation in our maintenance program allows us to maintain a team of highly skilled, experienced technicians, no matter how the Chicagoland seasons change.
Billed in 15-minute increments, rounded up. Emergency, overtime, holiday and Sunday service is billed door-to-door. All invoices are billed at 0%, Net 15. Maintenance agreement holders with two or more devices enrolled receive a $120 discount on unexpected service calls during normal working hours.
